The Hidden Cave Was Empty for Centuries… Until They Found One Seat Still Warm
For centuries, the Red Hawk tribe has been living in the territory of the majestic Eagle Ridge Mountains
The tribe’s ancestors have long believed that these mountains guarded the territory from outside invaders, providing the tribe with protection and concealing its existence

Many believe that there was an ancient council of the Red Hawk chieftains that convened inside a cave located somewhere behind the waterfalls According
to legends, the twelve chieftains of the Red Hawk vanished without a trace from the cave long ago. The cave’s existence was never confirmed, as none had been able to find it despite the generations of the Red Hawk tribe descendants telling the story
However, the cave’s existence was strongly believed in by the Chiefess Aiyana Blackhawk and the oldest member of the tribe, Elder White Elk
One morning, after a night of heavy rain, the youngest member of the Red Hawk scouts, Talon Graywolf, explored the mountains to find fresh traces of the deer
Following the trail, he found himself at the base of a waterfall. Talon discovered a cave entrance hidden behind the curtain of falling water
He cautiously pushed through the cascade and found himself in an enormous cave. His torch illuminated the walls of the cave, revealing twelve stone thrones arranged in a circle
Each throne had unique markings of the eagle, wolf, bear, and buffalo chieftains of the Red Hawk tribe. Talon muttered to himself hief, you have to see this

Less than an hour later, Chiefess Aiyana, Elder White Elk, and a few of the tribe’s warriors arrived at the cave’s opening
The entire tribe fell silent as it filed past the formation of the ancient council circle. Thick dust covered each of the eleven thrones, signaling that no one had disturbed the cave in centuries. However, the markings on the last throne were spotless, as if someone had just left it
A small firepit was found next to iThe fire was still warm, with a few embers glowing through the layer of gray ash.
Elder White Elk knelt beside the firepit and placed his hand over the flames, watching his breath rise from the leaping fire. He whispered
This fire has just died out… Someone was here.” Several of the tribe’s warriors began their search of the cave, but they could not find any signs of life in the chamber
As the warriors searched the cave, Chiefess Aiyana Black hawk noticed some markings on the cave’s floor A trail of fresh footprints led away from the firepit in the direction of the cave’s back wall
Unbeknownst to most, Talon and Elder White Elk closely followed the mysterious trail of footprints. The trail abruptly ended at the base of the stone wall in the back
For a while, no one spoke. Talon carefully examined the floor for more footprints, but he could not see any other marks
Elder White Elk moved toward the stone wall, his hands running over it as he traced strange markings almost invisible to the naked eye

They were similar to the markings on the council thrones. The elder stopped and placed his palm on the center of the carving
The ground trembled as the stone wall slowly opened. None of the warriors drew their weapons as they stared in shock at the opening in the rock
Behind the opened passage, a larger chamber was found. This chamber was different from the previous one. There were no signs of disturbance or ancient dust
Twelve stone pillars stood in a circle at the edges of the chamber. At the center of the circle, a set of old carved pillars framed a circular floor of smooth black stone. In the middle of it stood an ancient staff made of wood decorated with eagle feathers and turquoise stones
There was a scroll of animal hide tied to the top of it with a thick strip of leather. Chiefess Aiyana slowly untied the leather strip while everyone else watched in stunned silence

The markings on the scroll were carved in the old tribal language. Elder White Elk was the first to decipher the message
He read aloud You’ve come… twenty years early.”
None of the tribe’s members understood the meaning of the message. Looking around the chamber, Talon expected the message to suddenly reveal an unknown trap,
but nothing happened. Suddenly, Elder White Elk grew pale with fear as his hands began shaking. Chiefess Black hawk quickly narrowed her eyes at the old man, sensing a sudden change in his demeanor
She quietly spoke, “You know something.” The old man looked up at her and silently nodded before he took a deep breath. “My grandfather used to tell me the second part of our tribe’s legend. He told me that the Council of Twelve never vanished

He said that the Council foresees the most critical moments of our tribe’s future and that they promised to return whenever that moment arrives. He also warned us that if anyone were to enter this chamber before the Council’s return, the future itself may change.”
The warriors exchanged uneasy glances with each other
Chiefess Black hawk carefully tied the scroll back to the staff, making sure to put it in the exact spot she found it. “If what your grandfather said is true,” She spoke as she looked at the scroll, “this cave’s secret has been hidden for too long
Someone found it before us.” Talon thought about the markings on the council thrones, about the fresh printmarks leading to the wall. He looked at the untouched firepit and the warm, still burning embers. Whoever had found this place was not some ancient visitor from centuries past
They were someone who had visited the cave recently. Someone who had read the warning message Someone who had deliberately entered the cave without taking anything with them
As the tribe prepared to leave, Talon glanced one last time at the cave’s chamber. He noticed something strange as fine dust began to settle on the floor Some parts of the floor seemed to have fresh printmarks on them
The marks formed a strange pattern around the staff before vanishing into the darkness of the cave’s tunnel
Chiefess Black hawk raised her torch to inspect the tunnel, but it seemed to stretch far into the horizon. Elder White Elk quietly shook his head That passage was not there when we arrived.

No one spoke a word again as they watched the chief slowly inspect the chamber. The silence that filled the cave was broken only by the distant sound of running water in the mountains
And somewhere deep within the tunnels…
Someone’s footsteps began to echo.
Lesson
There are many things that remain mysterious to us However, it is sometimes best to leave the mystery alone A lesson must be learned, not by rushing into it blindly but understanding that patience sometimes brings wisdom
